Went for my morning walk after dropping my better half at her work. What a lovely morning it is. My meal out on Friday seems to have totally derailed my weight loss. Although I am back on plan, my morning weigh ins seem to have been slammed into reverse. Far from achieving my target before next year's big event, TrendWeight is now forecasting another THREE AND A HALF YEARS until I get to target.
I see the UK's National Obesity Forum has come out against low fat diets, saying we need to eat more fat to beat obesity. It points out that recent research that says otherwise was funded by the Food and Drink industry and as such must be suspect. A lot of clear thinking people seem to be coming to a similar conclusion.

A strict week and your weight should be properly back on track. It's what I'm having to do as well. It's a beautiful day here too which is to be expected since next weekend is a bank holiday and the forecast for it is not good

Sometimes Trendweight is a bit depressing - it told me this morning that it will take 2 years to reach my goal. But that just makes me more determined to prove it wrong! I am very against low fat diets after everything I've read. Also, I've been eating full fat milk, cheese, butter, eggs, etc, for sometime and I recently had my cholesterol checked - I was told it was perfect!
