@C Kala Anastasi, Kukla. And yes, I am going to "re-feed" on lamb. Perfect timing at my cut midpoint.

Good work there, Jimmy! So you go to that gym often? I will check it out. I could actually be a pretty good powerlifting instructor.

@WW Never been. Haven't been in town since learning about them. I found them through owner John Broz' advocacy of Squat Every Day. One of the kids in my gym put me on to SQED last year. (Fuck me.) I started reading and it is a thing going back to the old school Bulgarian lifters. Broz is one of the most hardcore coaches, and is cranking out some National/World champions. Some of his guys squat 12 times a week. Looking to squat at AvgBroz vicariously through you until I am in town next!

I do like Olympic lifting, and saw the lifting competition in the Atlanta Olympic Games.

I was there at the time of the bombing that took place, where they blamed it on a security guard, ruined his life, and it turned out to be a guy bombing abortion clinics.

Ya know, I was never really a big fan of Olympic lifting. Its Just too damn strict on the motions. And I like the fluidity and freedom I got from strongman training.

@WW Small World. I was in ATL for the Olympics as well. Circus, but lots of open seats. Saw some track and field stuff IIRC.

@WW Broz is a trip. He has this saying "how you feel is a lie." Needed that mindset to squat every day.

Nice drop for u! I read that when I went on their site. Very true. I had surgery in 08 on my TFC in my L wrist, Stupid tear took me out a year of work but then again it took the work comp drs forever to figure out what it was go figure, anyway, I am always a little scared to re tear it and when it hurts I'm like oh God I am not picking up the dumbbell or bird dog crunches, burpees, push ups etc... but I do it bc I know what happens when u find excuses. And sure enough, the wrist is always fine when I am finished. Keep up the good work.

@ Misty - I have a a good pair of lifting gloves that wrap up around my wrists for extra support. They really help when I use heavy dumbbells, and keep things from slipping when I am sweaty!
