Addie Aline's Journal, 08 October 2015

I'm not surprised the scale didn't move down I've had a couple of rough weeks with a lot of pain and meds and very little exercise. I think I also eat more when I'm laying around. I expect this week to be better because the pain is more manageable. We'e also had some really windy days which flares my allergies and asthma but the temps have dropped some and it's pretty nice here in the desert. It's so hard to sit in the house when it nice outside even though I know I'll pay its nice to sit on the patio.

I need to do some yard work but I'll wait at least another week so I don't cause the sever pain to return. We don't have grass our yards are rock (saving water) but we have lots of plants and bushes and trees on a drip system and with our climate the require constant trimming. And it's quite a job to keep leaves and other debris off the rocks. Anyway it's not the fun type of work like digging in flower beds. I've always loved gardening but not so much here in the rocks. It was always a good part of my exercise maybe that's part of why I gained weight when we moved here.
