Nice drop for being off your routine. Are you playing with your toys yet?

Just tore out the old wood rack. Painting the floor. Building tonight, after a quick back and arms workout.

Ive owned my house for 3 years now, and the past 2 years my hickory in the front and 10 black walnuts in the back never produced fruit. This year they are producing like crazy. The hickory has been picked clean by squirrels, but I'm looking forward to harvesting a load of black walnuts later this month right before NH waterfowl season opens.

Oh black walnuts..... What a treat. A lot of work, but worth it. Used to collect them by the bushels, run over the hulls with the tractor and let nature clean them for several months then crack them with the bench vice.

Right now we have wild muscadines falling to the ground and a few persimmons with them. The persimmons will be best though, after some cold weather/frost. The trick is to beat the deer and fox to the fruit. Deer season opens here in two weeks with archery season.

Glen. Focusing on strength with a power lifting routine. Specialization for back and arms 2 days a week. Lots of rest and protein. Watching the fat gain but the nature of it is to be a few hundred calories over. Looked at leangains, but I'll try something more tradition, again, this time. Moose season begins today for pointy stick, Chad. Hoping I can get out there soon.
