How slow does time feel when you are in pain? Dull, deep, aching pain. Something about it is a beautiful reminder that we are above ground another day. Not being sick or twisted here just real. This is my state upon waking this morning. Unmoving in the enveloping warmth and comfort of the covers, I ached. I did not even wake til 7 am, quite late for me. Recovery is needed. Today no walking, a little unpacking and maybe a little shopping and cooking and stretching. I think I need to spend and hour doing just that last item. I can feel how abused my muscles feel from lifting the radiators. There is not a part of me that is not sore. No goals beyond sticking to the plan. just an easy day.

So glad you can finally have a sort of rest day, sounds like you will be busy anyway. So sorry you are hurting. Maybe knowing that the kitchen is done your body gave in and decided to tell you it needs some rest now. Are you having those radiators reconnected soon so you will have heat when needed?

Nice drop and you're in yellow! All these sore muscles will help you speed up your metabolism, the body will use more energy to help you heal.

3 of them are installed others are waiting for other work to be done. we had to move them to get the kitchen stuff out of storage. We also banged up the floors a bit and when the weight of the radiator hit ( over 400 lbs) one of the floor boards it split not completely but there is a big fissure in it. now I have to figure out what to do and we fear more warping may come because of the weight. Will be consulting my contractor.

That's great, Kelly, time you had a rest. Enjoy your day, and I hope it turns out as planned.

Ooohhhh! And teetering on the edge of Onederland! Hope the radiator/floorboard problem won't be too major.

Ouch!! Please take good care of yourself; you've been pushing really hard and your body probably needs a rest. The floor will be okay; you will be okay. Just breathe and take a deep breath, and relax.

I have sat on my tush on a haze most of the morning. I did a few thing installed new burner trays on the stove and unloaded a box or 2 but I just feel drained. So a little at a time. I slept ok all things considered but wow I am running on empty physically and emotionally too.

You need to take a day or two off!! Be lazy, curl up with a book, play some of your games, just chill. Let your body heal, you have put it through an awful lot the past couple months.

Posted at same time on Challenge Forum -- seems like I've heard somewhere before that Sundays are a 'day of rest,' so let's go with that!! It will re-energize and re-charge you.
