Back into onederland this morning, will see if I can get below my weigh in of 2 weeks ago by Saturday, that would be nice but will only happen if I do what I need to do. So far so good, my mindframe is on the right track. The temptations that through me for a loop 2 days ago aren't a problem now which just goes to show the eating issues are a mental thing.

The one thing squirrels have not destroyed this year are my tomatoes and we're getting some really nice ones so BLT's or some version thereof on a low carb wrap have become a main menu item. Delicious, I could eat them all year long, and my dogs appreciate the slice of bacon they get each time. I planted some more beans and cucumbers on the side of the house that are coming up, if the varmints don't get them I should at least have some beans by the end of summer. Will try replanting peas and maybe broccoli or cauliflower as fall crops but I'll need to screen off the beds to protect them.

Anyway...happy hump day.

I have a low carb blt I do ... i lay out the iceberg lettuce, slice tomatoes. some cheese either american or cheddar and then my bacon and a spoon of mayo on the side. Really feels like a real BLT>. i also do a club sandwich version.. I've got some tomatoes on my patio but the birds are picking em off LOL .. Maybe I need to feed the birds more LOL. Welcome back to ONE-derland.. I agree with temptations being a state of mind.. OMG I was on mission to pig out yesterday bc i was feeling crappy and it was hot out yada yada but since there was nothing in my house that qualifies as junk food I lucked out and then I realized it was all in my head..

Redgirl...doesn't it drive you crazy when you have an overwhelming urge to eat junk and there is absolutely NOTHING that qualifies as such available? :) The good thing about that is the urge passes...sometimes not until after going to sleep though. BLT on lettuce w/o the bread is good and you can really do a thick bed of lettuce. I'm not doing LCHF but try to be careful with sugar and refined carbs, I've found the low carb wraps to be very good and they're loaded with fiber and usually high protein too.

JMB , omg yes it makes insane when i want a chip and cant find one BUT it has saved my butt many times. My husband buys his own junk and i have no idea where he hides it.. or he just buys a small amt like a small bag of chips on a friday for movie.. Whats so annoying is he left a half a hershey on the table this morning and i have zero interest in it today .. go figure .. bahahahaha
