Has anyone done a 7 day water fast before? if so please let me know how that went maybe message me so we can talk about it I am highly considering it.

People do it, but I don't know how. I would pass out. I would think some people could do it with no problems and it may make some people sick. If all you drink is water, then you are feeding your body no nutrients, which means you will lose a lot of water weight (which will come back) and muscle. If you don't get enough protein, you end up losing muscle which slows your metabolism (the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest. A juicing fast would be healthier and help you jump start weight loss. If you do end up doing it, always gauge how your body feels. If you start to feel sick, eat or drink juice.

Yeah your right the last thing i want is to gain it all back that would be extreamly depressing. I have done so well without the water fast i think i just might stick to what i have been doing but incorporating exercise as much as i hate it i think it will help a lot. thanks for your input

There are benifits in some of those religious fasts but i wouldnt recommend it as a long term fix. Suzi161 is spot on! Rather do juicing ! If you really wanna do some kind of "fast" try skipping carbs for a week especially sugars or at evenings.

Yes - I believe that is what they mean - also, if you dislike exercise could you simply take walks in pretty areas or go for leisurely bike rides? Just moving a little more will burn calories for you.

yeah yesterday my husband got me to go jogging and let me tell ya i did not know how out of shape i was. I am now planning on purchasing a bike.

I'm not sure what your eating plan is right now but if you are Low Carb have you tried the egg fast? It's on facebook with details. Also the IBIH website (ibreatheimhungry.com) has lots of recipes for an egg fast. Lots of people swear by it and it really curbs hunger.... Please don't hate on me for mentioning it. I know it's not a forever way of eating, but a kick start/plateau breaker. Just putting option out there!

I did it for 5 days and ended up losing 3 lbs after transitioning back to low carb. mostly I did it just to try something different. I ate a lot of egg salad (boiled eggs with mayo)!
