I think I either rolled or bent my ankle practicing take downs/judo in class last night. I don't think I can do sprinting this weekend. But I plan to do some weight lifting, jump rope and practice on the heavy bag at my condo's gym. I hope my ankle can get better before monday

Let it heal so you don't end up with a serious injury. Don't forget healing and recovery is a part of fitness and training.

Yes, bummer, but try not to further injure it or you will be out of commission totally. Rest it, perhaps?

I agree. Its so hard to get hurt and have to take a break from working out. I feel like I wont continue weight loss...idk I get anxious about it! I don't think I will be able to do sprinting safely. I think low intensity jumprope and hitting the bag with LOTS of stretching should help... I will take it easy today though

thank you guys! I am realizing how import stretching and warming up is- like glen mentions. Many injuries can be avoided. I think what happened is I fell wrong on the mat.
