Day 3 after the announcement of my promotion and I'm already ready to say forget it. OMG this place is crazy. The other person that had hoped for promotion is (understandably) avoiding me, but I don't think they realize what a blessing NOT getting the promotion is.

See...I now get the task of learning the new job, doing my current job, and training someone for my "old" job. All with no incentive. Yep, no increase in pay until the person that I'm replacing officially vacates their office...IN APRIL!

They haven't even started the process in finding my replacement...so I have no one to delegate/train any of my tasks to. It's so frustrating. I'm ready to quit and then apply for the promotion when they are finally forced to look 'outside' of the office for the position. Any thoughts?

However, I remain thankful to be employed. Doesn't mean I don't feel a little screwed over, but I have employers that actually want me around...maybe because I work so cheaply - LOL.

I won't be logging on much over the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm looking forward to relaxing with family...but I know it's now ingrained in my to be a mindful eater. Hopefully with the family around to watch the kids, my husband and I can sneak out to the gym TOGETHER for a change.

God doesn't give us more than we can handle.

Yep that's a job for ya...I left my last job of 1 1/2 years because I kept getting screwed over...it finally paid off and I work for a company that cares about its employees. Sometimes hard work pays off..you will see!

Oh, I know it will work out in the long run. Just hard to see it from here. Seems like there'd be a better transition than this.

Actually God does gives us more then we can handle so that we will rely on Him instead of ourselves. Praying you find joy through all of it. :)
