Well, I didn't gain, didn't lose. Not discouraged. I'm sure my poor body needs a break. It's probably wondering what the heck is going on. Where's those goodies I used to have? I'm protesting--LOL. I'll show you, I won't change that number today--LOL. Seriously, that's the way I look at it. I have to look at things positively and comically. I'm hoping it will be warm today. I'm taking my sneakers to work in the hope I can get a walk in :)

Sorry about the disappointment with the scale! As for the reason, I feel you are right. Studies show that our bodies really do work hard to hold onto our weight. Patience comes in handy.

Don't base your success (or failure) on the scale...it lies. Jillzee ... keep doing what you are doing. I agree with what LadyBeau's daughter said only because I have been keeping a log of my Tanita scale body composition readings for the last 6 days. It shows changes inside we don't see. I am dropping a bit in fat % everyday and building a teeny bit of muscle and bone from exercise. It's so cool to finally have something to see that is showing progress other than my weight on the scale. I hope to see that fall too soon.

Thanks everyone! I went for my first walk at lunch today--yayeee. I'm hoping to go home and do some "light" exercises tonight (leg lifts, waist bends). I start out small (ten of each) and work my way up. I feel like I'm tricking my body this way--LOL.
