Actually it should be "big breakfast" and also a calorie deficit! It depends on the individual . We are all different thank goodness:-)

So you are saying that people that eat most of their meals at night are not controlling their weight?

And taking me into the equation, of course the big breakfast idea is false. My breakfast are no more than 500 calories n my dinners are often close to 1000 calories

No not at all but we are not all alike ! Maybe some of us don't like to eat at night and are still being/getting at a healthy weight :-)

Preferences differ so we must find what keeps us on track but no one is different where CICO is concerned.

That’s a preference

That is not what dictates weight loss.

@Diablo360x yes of course CICO is important ! We need to find a lifestyle that works and makes us happy....

Several schools of thought on this subject with some decent scientific support for eating a lighter dinner because of our natural body rhythm and our tendency to be more active during the day and more sedentary at night. For most of us that isn’t feasible because of working. It’s an interesting Google question if anyone is really interested.

And a calorie deficit, maintenance or surplus will dictate weight loss, maintenance or gain.
