cheese is not so bad I love cheese. Dieting is not warfare on yourself. We all struggle sometimes I have been dieting on and off 50 years. be gentle with yourself

We all have weak moments. What diet are you trying to follow and what are your greatest challenges in following it?

It's a pretty small block of cheese considering! Hang in there and don't give up on yourself. We all have bad days and good. Take it easy on yourself :)

Well. It was an 8oz block of cheese. I think I stopped at 4oz.... But then I ate Pringles too. And a cherry coke. But all I've had today was a large stouffers lasagna (2.5 serving size) and 2 slices of garlic bread and water. And I walked 1.5 miles in the woods today and picked persimmons. And I rode the tractor for 1.5 hours to till the garden from 9:30-11. But I still feel like a failure because this cheese block is so SMALL compared to the pictures I haven't posted. I feel like I'm lying to everyone. I try to be honest. Everything in my profile... thats who I want to be. But I haven't been her for a month or better.

So you took the day off. Everyone needs to once in a while. Jump back on tomorrow. Nothing to sweat over.

VickiAuntMick, what was all the crying about? Is it anything you want to talk out? This is only one choice out of the bazillions that you make all day. You're not a failure, it just wasn't a choice that was good, better or best. The good choice that you made was to stop at 4 oz. Now, log it:. 400 calories. Ok. Move on. Your NEXT choice is yours to reinforce your goal. I say, make a choice to have a nice glass of water and sit down and meal and snack plan out a few days. I'm cheering you on and wishing you a better space in your head and heart

You were active today -- that's a plus! And this day will pass and later you will laugh about what made you cry today! Some days are golden and some are not! I'm envying you for that beautiful walk in the woods today! And two weeks from now you will remember the walk, but will have forgotten the extra food!

Been there, done that!

Try and shake it off, no one is perfect. Maybe try to walk an extra half mile each day this week to help yourself battle against the disappointment you are feeling. Good luck

No--do not worry!!!! You are doing GREAT!!! That is not french fries, a bag of chips or a candy bar. Yes, cheese does have some fat in it, but it's healthier choice. There is protein in cheese and this will carry you through to your next meal. You're being too hard on yourself. I think you made a better choice. What I would do, is maybe have a grilled chicken salad for dinner to even it out :) Hugz!

I'm with Mabels! We all got issues. Dieting is not about looks or how much you weigh. It's about living better, physically, mentally and emotionally. (I am currently working on all 3). So don't feel like you're going at it alone. Granted we may not physically be there but as you can see a lot of folks got your back. Hang in there! ☺
