Beverly J's Journal, 18 July 2018

I always said to myself that I would never get this heavy again, well here I am. It’s up to me & me alone to take off the weight & live healthy again.

I am facing another back surgery in September. I currently cannot do any exercising, not even walking.

Action Plan: I need to re-visit my eating habits starting immediately. I need to eat healthy foods & definitely watch my portion sizes. And logging my food is so important. I need to be accountable for what I am eating.

I want to be prepare so that after my surgery it’s GAME ON! My goal is to start slow by losing 10lbs. My total weight loss goal is 30lbs.

I've had numerous back surgeries. I can relate. Even after 25 years, my exercise is counting carbs and short walks with my Papillon. Not real good for losing weight, but better than it was. You've got a cheering section here. My situation may not be yours, but I hope your surgery sets you on your chosen course (pre & post-op)

Just a quick heads up on that Keto remove hunger, which makes an exercise-free weight loss pretty straight forward. Can be challenging with portion size alone, due to the nagging hunger.
