still up a little more than 5 pounds from my low - but I had gained nearly 10 pounds. Beginning yesterday I started feeling pain all around my lower abdomen and lower back, pretty bad. Thought it had to do with the Calm - magnesium citrate gummies I had bought and was using to help with constipation. They didn't work like the powder so I took quite a few. Thought it upset my system. So after breakfast yesterday I did nothing but drink water (I always think drinking water helps to flush out anything bad I've had to eat or drink). Today I still have pain, but it's mostly my lower back. As long as I don't move, I don't hurt. So I've been laying down with a heating bad and it seems to be helping to move as little as possible. I do have a doctor appointment scheduled. Sunday morning at 4am I let my dog Bobby outside and he was immediately sprayed by a skunk. I'm thinking maybe I hurt my lower back during the following hour - I don't remember if I picked him up to bring him inside to give him a bath after wiping him down outside. Today I will also try to eat very little, just in case there is something going on with my colon or intestines - the pain I felt yesterday reminded me of when my father had a bad infection caused by diverticulitis which required surgery. I haven't had a fever, so don't think there's an infection. But I will avoid nuts until I see my doctor! And seeds.
