Many people see an upswing around these times. Maybe try a little longer, switch something up? Revisit your motivations and goals. Hope to see you around

Never give up, but it's OK to take a break. Lighten up and be kind to yourself. Every person here has felt what you're feeling in some way that's why you're here...for support. You are keeping company with a great many people who understand EXACTLY how you feel. ❤

I just read something from another member that I think is a very good idea. Instead of abandoning ship completely when she is struggling, she sets her calories at maintenance until she is ready for renewed commitment. I never thought of that, but it makes sense to me.

We all have ups and downs but they don’t define who we are; what defines us is how we handle it.

Don’t give up! You can do this! Tweak your WOE, add more exercise as you are able, and be patient. I gained 6 lbs over holidays, which for me is a lot. I panicked when I couldn’t lose it, no matter how healthy I ate or how much I exercised. I felt like giving up and eating a gallon of ice cream but instead I stuck with my clean eating and mixed more cardio into my workouts. I also increased my calorie intake as I realized I was limiting myself too much and sometimes your body will hold onto to fat and calories to survive.I am still waiting for a drop but in meantime I feel better by eating healthier foods. I’m determined to get this under control. You just need to find what works best for you. I also find that planning, prepping and logging are super important. It isn’t easy but results will happen. I believe!

Never give up, never give up, never, never, never, never - in nothing large or small, great or petty - never give up. (To paraphrase Churchill)

Don’t give up. Rest a while, take a break but never give up. You can do it
