Ok so lets get real about weekends for some weird reason when it comes to the weekends this little switch in my brain goes off and it says to me.
"Honey just go ahead and do as little as possible."
I swear on Saturday I tried to motivate myself to work out from 9am,do you want to know what time I eventually worked out 6pm!!!!
And on Sunday I was supposed to go for a run well the only thing that ran was my mouth over a bunch of ice cream.

My eating goes out the window and it's like a peculiar lethargy settles over me.

Am I the only one?

no, you are definitely not the only...my eating is a disastrous on weekends.. its something I am working on though 🙈🙈

I exercise from Mon-Fri, gym 3x and hiking x2, on sat mornings, hubby and I go hiking again, but on Sundays, we are officially couch potatoes, and that is just fine, need rest as well. So, if you are active during the week days, feel free to chillax weekends.

I'm aiming for a five day week which is generally Monday to saturday excluding thursday and sunday. I go to crossfit 3 x weekly and then on friday and saturday I am left to my own devices. I downloaded this app called the 7 minute work out and it has this awesom 30 day challenge and everyday is a different workout and it increases in intensity for each workout and it has voice automation that times you and tells you what to do and what you should be feeling like a personal trainer which I find super cool. then I hit the treadmill for 30 minutes that is generally my Friday work out. then Saturday it is my responsibility to go on a 6km run. Only thing is I had a bad week last week so I ended up skipping my tuesday and friday workouts so I made up for friday on saturday and I was supposed to make up for tuesday on sunday but I never got out of bed. now today at crossfit I got a very punishing workout and I feel like it's karma coming to bite me in the ass for being a sloth.

It is the weekend. You cannot work and run and eat clean ... even GOD rested on a Sunday

NO You are definitely NOT the ONLY one I HATE weekends they are my WORST Firstly I feel that my Husband can't stop eating & that I have to grab otherwise there is nothing left AND usually we buy food over weekends for the week AND all those lovely treats........ Need I say more. SO I'm with you !!!!!

It feels weirdly good to not be alone in this thanks guys, because i have seriously been beating myself up. because my weekday seems so organised but when I am left to my own devices. I find the call of housework which weirdly never seems to end and when i have spare time netflix is to strong.

Try to be as strict as you can be during the week and reward yourself on weekends moderately 'til such time you will be able to fight it...

Haha im so happy to see that theres so many others out there. I thought i was the only one...weekends are the worst...particularity Fri and Sat for me
