I am not following phase one a 100%. At lunch yesterday I had a little whole grain bread with my salad. Today I was sick of celery and lunchmeat, so I had a lean cuisine meal that had a little pasta. Oh well. I still have not eaten fast food, regular soda or snacked late at night. It has only been 1 1/2 hrs and I am hungry again... grrrrr.
199.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 39.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Are you eatings snacks throughout the day. Thats one of the things that helps me get through without the carbs in phase one. One snack between breakfast and lunch and then another between lunch and dinner.

Yeah, I definitely agree that the snacks help control hunger and are an important part of the diet. It takes a while to get used to having them though, if you are not a "snacker." Another thing is that when you decide to have things that are outside the diet it helps *a lot* to know how many overall calories you are consuming, that way you don't mess up too badly. Good Luck!
