well after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last week (knew it was coming, family history) life has changed. Went from eating excessive to watching portions and making better choices. Making calories count, not drinking soda, eating candy and cookies as a meal....... fresh vegetables, fruit, chicken and other healthier choices. The first couple days were hard to manage but worked through them. Dont feel the need for the sweets like i did before. Am looking for weight loss and better health overall. goal is 80lbs.
