help! I'm at work and about to get my afternoon coffee (yes, I am still drinking caffeine; my approach is the SBD, modified!) and though I ate a hearty lunch of lentil soup and mixed greens salad with chicken and goat cheese, I'm getting the munchies!
I used to always get a single-serve packet of the most amazing granola I've ever tasted. I haven't touched any "bad carbs" likes this in my three days on the wagon...
Ah!

Good job. What I usually do is continue with a couple of cups of half decaf (not really recommended). You can also enlist large glasses of water to come to your rescue when hunger pangs begin to hit, but it is a difficult technique to master. ;-)

FWIW: Soft goat cheese is rated (L)imited for all three phases of SBD. (L)imited means it should be eaten no more than once a week. Hard goat cheese is rated (A)void for both Phases 1 and 2, and (V)ery Limited for Phase 3. (A)void is pretty much self explanatory, while (V)ery Limited means once every two to three months. This, for people that want to adhere strictly to SBD, modified versions of the diet are exempted of course. :-)

good to know. I *am* doing a modified version, yes, but only in certain areas. I should certainly switch to fat-free feta cheese or something. THANKS! :)
