Eating Out Myths Busted.
I went to Olive Garden this weekend. Here are a couple of tips.

1. Skip the salt sticks, I mean "bread sticks"
2. Ask for the lower calroie dressing for their salad on the side. Dip your fork into the dressing and then pick up some salad. You will be amazed at how little dressing you use, and how it still has flavor.
3. If you think you eat out becuase you don't have time to cook. Wake up. I left at 8:30 to go eat, and I got home at 10:15 (had to wait in line, wait for my order to be taken, wait for the check). This was not bad service. It just takes time.

So I could've stayed home, made my own food with better ingrediants. Yes I would've had to do my own dishes. But I could get the whole family chopping/preparing the food. Not to mention the money I would save in gas, and in food.

When we say "I don't have time" we are kdding ourselves. Could it be we are just lazy?
