IT has been a challenge. I am counting calories as that has worked for me in the past. i am trying to keep intake between 1200 and 1500 per day with one treat per week of my choosing -- a drink or two or a great dessert as a reward. Anyway it is working as I am motivated because I want to enjoy our trip to Greece. My wife and I leave September 8th and I need to be down closer to 185 or 190 so I can enjoy the food and drink as we make our way through Athens, Delphi and the Greek Isles. It has also helpful that I have been doing projects around the summer house -- enclosing the back stairs and under the deck with lattice, scraping and re-painting the metal outside furniture, and power washing and hopefully painting the picket fence out front. Anyway these projects and the veggie garden and yard work have kept me active. Now if i can only keep from putting food in my mouth at night after dinner. That is my downfall watching TV or reading a good book and reaching for the refrigerator or cabinet door.
