I need to stop hanging out in my kitchen. I get home from work and start digging in cupboards for something to snack on - I am over hungry.

I am getting better at this so I grab an apple and a few almonds and ignore the potato chips. I prep dinner - which takes longer than I want - longer than a minute and a half. I have two glasses of water. The husband says he is going to barbeque the meat but has forgotten to light the grill. So I am still hanging out in the kitchen. I have now been home 45 minutes (it is 8:00 pm). So I open a bottle of wine and cook the vegetable. I had not budgeted for the wine calories, but I am very rapidly not caring.

Finally get dinner on the table at 8:15. Spend until 8:45 eating and cleaning up the kitchen. I have a couple more almonds since I am still hungry. End up with 225 more calories than I intended. I need a better plan.
