Back in 2007 I got married I was 148 when I got married, now I am 185 and this is my "Heaviest" life time weight.
I have no one to blame but myself, I do HAVE a thyroid condition, but I never used that as an excuse and don't plan on it now, because I know I eat all the wrong things and I am not active.

I have decided I am ready to "finally" take control of my life!!!

Diet Calendar Entry for 19 January 2012:

I hear ya... I put on a tonne of weight since I got married in 2010 but I'm trying to stop dwelling on it and do something about it... It's hard but it's just a matter of making new habits (easier said than done!) :-)

We can all make excuses...but the fact is, we just eat the wrong foods. My "excuse" WAS that I was eating due to stress due to health issues of a loved one. Yes, it's hard to eat healthy when you're sitting with someone in the hosptial but the truth is, we can always THINK before we eat. Yeah, it's easy to run to McDonalds for burgers, but we could also go to Walmart and buy a WW dinner or Healthy Choice meal. Every hosptial has a microwave. And then there's always the 100 calorie snack packs when you don't have time to divide foods into portion sizes. That's my new thinking, anyway. :-) Best of luck to you.
