Coach_B's Journal, 01 March 2017

Well, he I go again. My yearly, early in the year attempt to lose weight! Geez O' Pete's I think this is my 21st year of attempts. I am hopeful I have the right approach now and can be successful in my effort to lose weight.

The last few years, I tried a futile attempt at Keto, I could never get it to work for my, probably my own impatience and inability to stick with it are the root causes. I've done a lot of reading on it and I still believe that it is a good way to lose weight and get healthy. However, I have recently signed up with a personal trainer and he has put me on a diet that is far from Keto. I am to have almost zero fat. Seems strange, but this guy has been very successful in helping morbidly obese folks like myself not only lose the weight, but keep it off for years. I'm all in and on board with his practices. Lots of oatmeal, chicken and veggies.

Last night I had my first of 3 times a week workouts with him. I can't tell you the last time that I actually worked out, I bet it's been 15 - 20 years. Surprisingly, although he worked me out hard, I am not that sore. I am looking forward to what he has in store for me.

Think of this as changing your food in take slowly and walk more park your car 5 blocks away and take stairs when you can.Good luck it's hard but little changes make a big difference.

The sticking with it part is what determines success or failure and that's true categorically for ways of eating.
