Steph, I take a unisom at night, it's OTC and safe. I don't feel "hungover" in the morning, but it helps me sleep. I've struggled with sleep issues for a very long time, and they help without making me in a coma for those nighttime interruptions. They also help me get irght back to sleep after those interruptions.

Thanks for the advice...I love the coma comment, because that is exactly how I feel if I take something to sleep or nyquil for a cold. Between my husband and I, we came to the conclusion that I am too busy right before bedtime. Computer work, phone calls, meetings, kids...we decided that this week I should try to be done with everything like an hour before bed...and just try to relax. Hopefully it will help! If not, Unisom...here I come! Thanks! :)

Oh, absolutely! You need to get into a "bedtime" routine. I find if I'm doing stuff right up until I crawl into bed I really don't sleep well. But, if I get done, sit down and relax, it's much better. I take the unisom cause it would always be easy for me to fall asleep, but the minute I'd wake up, I couldn't get back to sleep. Blah.
