It doesn't matter what I do. I am just not losing the weight. I always stay between 1200-1500 calories. Is this too much?

What are you eating? That matters more. Do you keep a food journal? What works for one person doesn't work for everyone-keep trying new adjustments. Intermittent fasting and keto are working for me. But, I've never lost any weight by just eating less. You can do this-just keep trying!

How tall are you and how much activity do you do during the day? You should get on a different site for calculating how much you should eat because the fatsecret calculation was way too high for me. I am 5 foot 3 inches and I found that 1200 calories a day and walking 2 miles a day started me losing 1 to 2 pounds a week. I agree - it really depends on what you eat not just the calories. Good luck!

Not if you go through the Nutrimost program and reset your metabolism. It's not just about food😄🌈

How long have you been at 1200 calories? Do the calculations for your current weight. If it takes only 1500 calories per day to maintain your current weight, you need to eat less or exercise more. Exercise consumes calories but it also helps keep your metabolism revved up. If no exercise your metabolism will slow down to conserve energy.

"reset your metabolism" --- Hokey... don't bother with any nonsense that 'guarantees' and amount of weight loss in any amount of time... Eat proper, Track it. It's really that simple. Discipline is the hard part. As Abba says, it depends on your height, activity, etc... Keeping a journal and trackign EVERY bit is very important...

exercise, plenty of fluids. I have yet to see someone who can't lose weight if carbs are dropped down to 35 grams per day. calories at 1200. just walking ten minutes twice a day is enough. it should come off. check your thyroid if it doesn't. take a multivitamin every day

It is NOT hokey, Pickles. It's a whole new way of thinking, living and eating. You lose FAT on this program not just weight. The first 40 days are non-forgiving and yes, will power and discipline are very important. It's also about changing the products you use that contain chemicals and oils that make your body retain fat. It's all about limiting sugar and salt especially. People must grasp the concept that you can not out-exercise a poor diet and poor life style. So many of my friends went on Weight Watchers and Nutri systems, etc and lost weight but gained it all back and then some. I had the metabolism of an 85 year old. Shocking. It works if you are committed to losing weight and changing your life style. I am now on 1500 calories a day and love Fat Secret because it keeps me on track. If I gain a pound or 2 I can do a plateau day and lose it the next day. I'm always amazed at how much sugar, sodium, etc. is in certain foods. With Fat Secret I am able to make better choices. I have maintained my weight for over a year and will never go back! Good luck - I hope you reach your goal. Happy Healthy Holidays!

A couple more comments --- it's not fat or carbs it's eating the right ones. Good fat such as coconut oil is necessary and natural carbs in fresh fruit, etc. are important. Cut out all the white stuff for the most part. Make your calories, carbs, fat and proteins count.
