Because of the weather change I've had to spice up my work out routine and have opted for swimming. My 30 minute swim is a much better total body workout than my 40 minute walk so I should be burning more calories right. Instead I gain 3 pounds... Lets just say I hope it is muscle!

Diet Calendar Entry for 10 November 2011:

I think swimming is the best workout you can possibly do - bar none. Not only will it work your whole body, but your body has to burn more calories trying to keep warm in the cooler water. It will pay off. Good job!

I def think the gain is just from the change. Swimming is an awesome workout and I must admit I'm a little jealouse there is no indoor pool close to me!! I think it's just the change you need to continue succeeding!!

I love swimming and was so happy to find my gym. I've been going to the pool 2-3 times a week for the past 2-3 weeks. :) I used to swim competitively and over the past 11 years have lost all my muscle from that so now I have to build it up again.
