Nov. 4, 2011. The post season is in full swing. After a good summer of triathlons, it is time to start preparing for next year. I took October "off" (meaning less activity at lower intensity, but NOT sedentary), and being November, it is now time to start the weight training portion of my work-out regime to rebuild my strength base. I need to get in 4 weight work-outs a week, at medium to high weight, medium to low reps. Right now, I need to add muscles mass and strength, but not get huge and bulky. I also need to make sure I'm eating properly and getting in at least one swim and one run or bike each week to keep me going on my base training. This is important to set me up well for next year and next season!
