Ok went to the doctor today don't have one hernia but 2 getting them took care of Friday just don't know what iam going to do for the next 2 weeks no work no gym makes LeRoy a fat man

no, it wont, just don't eat crazy style and you will be just fine. You may LOSE weight from lack of activity/

Just as Knuckles said - watch what you eat. And yes may be surprised that your body actually reacts to proper eating and rest by burning more calories....a two week break may be advantageous...the best thing for weight control (in my opinion) is diet, rest and change up of exercise routines which includes not exercising - the break will give you a great chance to see how your body will react without the exercise - weigh in every morning and take note of what you ate and when you ate it(time of day). Whilst you are not exercising try to eat your last meal of the day as early as possible i.e by about 7pm (9pm at the latest) - get at least 8 hours rest/sleep.

That sucks Leroy!! Ditto the above posts, when my back went out mid Feb, I lowered my daily calories about 400-500/day, still lost a bit of weight even though I didn't do a blinking thing for almost a week ,then really light workouts only for the next three. It wasn't fun,mbut as long as you don't gain you'll be good! Take care, have a great week!!

LeRoy needs to relax and eat at least to maintenance to heal. Hope it goes really well for you. Fix it once. Let it heal. Wade back in easy when you can. (I'd hate missing the gym for 2 weeks as well.)
