I had my six-month neurologist check up yesterday and was thrilled when she noticed my weight loss before even looking at my chart. On the downside, she started me on daily baby aspirin to minimize stroke risk given previous migraine-related episodes of forgetting words and a recent fainting spell. I know I'm still below the usual starting age for aspirin therapy, but the pill organizer on my kitchen counter is getting fuller and making me feel old.
