Yesterday I had two doctor's appts. The first one with my new primary care doc. Long appointment because he was backed up with a lot of new patients. A lot of docs retiring!!
He wants to do an MRI of my head to see if that has anything to do with all the problems just affecting my left side. Pain in the upper and lower leg with spasms, heaviness, shoulder,collarbone and neck pain and most recently numbness in the left hand. No problem at all with either knee replacement (x-rays were done on both knees in the afternoon with the ortho doc).
Waiting for the insurance to approve the MRI. Just want to do it now and see if it sheds some light on all these symptoms. I had migraines for several years (none in over a year and a half, knock on wood). That makes me more likely to suffer a stroke or an aneurism.
Decided to try to concentrate on something else for now. The family xmas party is this Saturday in Vermont so that will be a great distraction! We'll get to see some of my husband's relatives that we rarely see.
