Happy Saturday FS friends

It's turning out to be a very weird winter. Snow is long gone, the grass is green. Temps here hit 16C. Today we got up to 10C. Took the littles into the outer backyard for a bit of a muddy run. Some dandelions are already showing their perky yellow blooms. Lilacs are budding, the snowdrops are already blooming and the daffodils are about 3" out of the ground. I think the birds are confused too. Don't know if you have ever noticed but come spring there is a lot more birdsong. Well, that was happening today. Even the fishermen were out in their boats on the mighty Niagara river. Rude awakening coming though as temperatures are set to drop back to more normal levels in the next couple of days. Hope my plants survive (not the dandelions though as they are far too plentiful)

I was quite happy to be out puttering in the sunshine as it gave me the lift needed to chase away the winter blues. Spring is coming (Yay)
