I have been doing so much exercise that I am sure I am building muscle but it doesn't help to look at the scale and have it go up a lb. Anyway my BMI is 30 today. I am going to start recording it and the dimensions of my various parts. And change that photo. UGH.

Actually, a lot of exercise can cause the muscle to retain water (muscle fibers get little tears) and it can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss, or small loss. It will go away when your muscles get used to the exercise.
