I'm really picky too. Most deli meats have too much salt for me.

Morticia I don't care for chicken or pigs I was vegan 9 years malnourished on a white diet or potato, rice. Pasta, bread, I wasn't overweight just very unhealthy. I had pet pigs and I raised chickens for eggs only occasionally butchering one for family meal. For some reason I'm turned off to deli meats. Speaking of salt I seem to be using more salt then I did before I ditched my junk food snacks diet. I don't understand why. I'm am doing so much better not tho! Hope you have an amazing new Year !

I only eat lean low sodium deli meats. Walmarts prima della low sodium turkey, prima della low sodium roast beef & krakus low sodium ham even has an American Heart Association certification on the label. Nothing with mixed fats or meats. Good luck

No please don't eat the delimeats even if they have the aha label. Get no nitrate cold cuts they are known to cause cancer. There are many other options fresh chicken salad, fresh turkey even fresh ham although I am sure that has nitrates as well🙄🙄

I don't eat processed meats and have to avoid the deli counter. Even though I love the taste of them, per doctor I avoid them (okay ill confess to a very rare breakfast out that includes bacon or a pepperoni pizza. Next pizza will be black olives and mushrooms. All this because of being on anti inflammatory diet.

Uncured nitrate & preservative free is the way to go. It may cost more, but you just eat less and put more lettuce and tomatoes in your wrap.

Prima della brand turkey and roast beef contain zero nitrates to those who jumped up in my face. Don’t worry, I won’t try to help anyone again. This is now a calorie counter app for me, if anyone can tell me how to shut off messages etc, that would be appreciated. BTW, I need to lose weight because of medication I have to take to breathe. I eat less than 1300 calories a day and still can’t lose weight. I don’t have the money for shots and weight loss surgery and was using this as a tracker. Bye bye yall. ♥️ ☮️ out!!
