Today I got on my elliptical for the first time since the beginning of August when I was hospitalized with sepsis. Each time I planned to get back to my healthy lifestyle I had a relapse of some kind. I finished the last round of antibiotics on Saturday so I decided I'd get back on my healthstyle track on Monday. I dialed my resistance back to 6 (formerly 10) and I only did 20 minutes (formerly an hour), but I was able to reach that goal and I look forward to upping my resistance and my endurance slowly over then next few weeks.
Last fall/winter/spring I lost 52 pounds and changed from a size 2x/3x (20/22) to a size L/xL (16). Of course I invested in a whole new cold-weather wardrobe. Late last spring when I packed those clothes away for the summer I hoped they would all be too big for this year. This has not happened. I'm disappointed, but I am also blessed. The clothes I'm getting out (size 16's) still fit! I haven't gained weight, and now I'm back on track. Here's to hoping this is the last season I can wear these clothes!

Glad you stayed about the same weight and getting your strength back.

Sorry about your setback, I had 2 infections after right hip replacement, so I know how hard it can be. That's great that the sz 16's still fit, & in no time they'll be too big. Prayers for your continued healthy lifestyle, eating, exercise & weight loss efforts. ~ ((Skinny Hugs)) GLAMMER
