@heidij123 -- my two things I'm working on to help me refocus on my short term goal (223lbs). No snacking or eating after 8pm. Drinking at least 64floz water each day.
And exercising (I know that's 3). The working out is definitely helpful for the stress reduction. Having trouble focusing lately. Overdue for some time off....yet I will be flying out tomorrow to OH for an event. No vacation time - will be working - even though in a different location. I will have some much needed time off coming up in November for sure. Will probably take a day or two here and there prior to that. Just to be able to turn my phone off (my work phone rolls over to it) and live in a bubble is awesome. Did that on 9/18 for 1/2 day. And ended up cleaning the house....which I'm working on today too. My memory seems to have a black hole to it -- like I remember writing down this email....but where I put it? Ah, I have Nothing! And I need to send an ad over. Grrrr. Guess it means I'm going to have to call him and get it again. (Abhor that!!) Trouble focusing on tasks at hand -- personal or work. Guess this is my body and mind saying "HELLO!!!! WE NEED MORE THAN A HALF DAY OFF!" Weird how weekends help sometimes, but if you have alot going on over the weekend, it's just as bad as a regular work week.

Was able to find a place to take an overnight trip to with college friends. We always give other couples one trip to find out if we are compatible to ever do a repeat share a house together. We've never taken a trip with these friends, so hoping it is a relaxing time in the mountains. (Yeah, mountains are my favorite escape.) Most everything else was taken....apparently 75% of the USA will be in the Smokey Mts/Blue Ridge Parkway the same weekend. I literally found 2 places -- not a hotel chain -- still available. And who knows for how long they would stay available! Craziness!!! We'll be going for apples for sure....will be our 3rd trip.

Workout this morning -- for some reason on Wednesdays, I want to do cardio, and it's sculpting day. Thank goodness I had the warm-up, leg workout, and cool down yoga scheduled, else who knows what I might have done this morning. The leg workout used dumbbells -- brought out the 20lbs, 15lbs, and 10lbs -- since my legs are stronger. Yeah, after 20 minutes of that --- I know I will probably feel a few new friends tonight or tomorrow on the plane.

Headed back to it.....Peace to you! (Still overeating....this too will chill out. Gotta give it time.....)

Changed my RDI to 2300 from 1900. Will slowly decrease. Thanks Lilly1212 -- that will be the case over the weekend for sure! Anytime I visit my sister, my eating schedule is never normal. :)

Lilly's suggestion sounds good! So I guess you are overeating because you are stressed? And hence the new challenge. Hmmm. Drinking water in the evenings definitely helps, I do that, or drink herb tea, so as not to drink alcohol. Nibbling is also a habit. I get a small quantity of breakfast cereal to pick at. It's easy to change what you eat and drink, than to not do it at all. You seem to be doing really well on the exercise, anyway, I'm very impressed!

I stoping eating after 8:00 about 3 months ago, best thing I ever did as far as my eating is concerned. After the first week it became really easy, now I find myself eating my last meal about 6:30, which means I'm not eating after 7:00. This has not been a conscious decision on my part it just happened.

It's funny Maeju how often the seemingly impossible isn't as hard as you thought!
