JDbowler's Journal, 22 July 2015

Today was supposed to be a work out day. Yesterday sucked. I think I have really been trying to over do one part of my life, to make up for the "cheating" that I have been regularly doing. So, I challenged myself to go and be where I want to be calorie wise. I hit it yesterday, staying away from the temptation of lots of things. Just stuck to water, and meals. No snacks. I did have a nice loss. I usually post a weight on Monday, maybe Friday, so my midweek scale reading doesn't really get logged. The loss, significant at that, was very nice to see.

Back to really over doing it. So, I worked both my jobs yesterday. After having two days in a row of working out, I had a day of rest. I decided to walk at lunch. I walk just over 3 miles (almost 5K) in 48 minutes. After that, I was feeling it a little, but was able to relax my foot so it was ok. I went to my second job, and all I did was walk, and we were missing two guys because they were on vacation. So, more walking. By the end of my shift, my foot was on fire. I was getting nervous because this is my surgically repaired foot. After icing it last night, it feels much better today. But I think it is time to keep it at a rest for a couple of days just to make sure. Maybe I pushed just a little too hard.

I hope everyone is having a great day, and a great week so far. We are halfway done. Enjoy your day everyone.
