HARLOWJAMESON's Journal, 01 July 2015

The dreaded lunch time. While I have not been itching for anything greasy or heart attack inducing, I still like I need to be eating more that what I have been YET I don't think I should because the amount I want to eat is just out of habit. It's noon and so far I have consumed 390 kcal, which I assume is good.

I have been great about logging my meals but not my workouts. I always forget.

Just when I think I am looking better because I am feeling better, I look in the mirror and realize I still have a long way to go. *sigh*
This has to be working, right?

Don't sweat it...we all start somewhere. And, at least for me, I know I am not even close to where I want to be.

Girl! You have to drink drink drink! Plus add plain Greek yoghurt (Fage 2% is my fave!) for 20 grams of extra protein. I stir in a sleeve of SF pink lemonade drink mix (or 1/2 if a whole is too strong) and it is WONDERFUL! Makes me wanna LICK the container! Also, I try and have a snack about 10-10:30 am if I'm peckish, almonds, or cucumber slices with cheese. Lots of good stuff you can eat but you MUST plan ahead. Protein will keep you full longer. Good Luck Buddy!

how about a slice of whole grain bread with nut butter and a fruit. Don't starve yourself though.

Thanks everyone! I drink more water than I know what to do with myself. The above suggestions are Options and I'm totally going to try them!

I'm a singer and I have been told that in order to be "fully hydrated" I should drink 1/2 my body weight in ounces.
