Happy to journal. It really keeps me focused on what I put in my mouth. BUT that doesn't mean I am terribly strict about what I eat. I do eat in moderation and do my best to keep it healthy. Finding new foods and recipes that are healthy and delicious.
Did go to a "pop-up dinner" this week so totally off any food restrictions. Also, not able to journal it as it was 4 courses plus amuse bouche. I did however list the dinner and note I was over my desired calorie count.
So that said I am eating much better than I have for years...perhaps ever. I am down a couple of pounds this week and I don't feel I have been deprived. I have enjoyed exploring new foods and learning about where our food comes from. The more I learn the more I question eating meat. Not ready to give it up yet but certainly have considerably reduced what I eat.
So all is good and on to a better week.
