It seems like a big deal to me - usually with pain level this high, I'm lying down - but I was able to get to my meeting.

Over-all today I did enough vegis.

I'm tired now.

Got my computer going again - I feel like such a geek - I monkeyed with the plugs etc and it began working again - didn't have to purchase anything,

Since I am off sugar, wheat, corn, high fructose corn syrup - which may be the last of my comforts- I've gone back to NA so my other addictions don't resurface. I can't afford for that to happen. I have 19 years this time, so it's very important to me.

The past couple of days I got my sleep messed up - so meals, meds, are also messed up.
I got 12 hours of sleep - in my area we have a hurricane coming to my area - and my pain levels are up - so today I have to be doing minimal physical stuff. I did get a bit of walking done.

Listening to Keith Harkin and his sister Rebecca - love it.

I am keeping my abstinence since last Tuesday - so that's a week.

Glad to hear you got your computer going again. Hope you are able to sleep better tonight. I like Keith Harkin's music too...haven't heard any of his sister's stuff yet, but I plan to . I love Celtic Thunder's music as well, I've been to 2 of their concerts and hope to go to another one sometime soon.

I'm so grateful for YouTube. I wish I could get to one of their concerts. Live must be so much fun.

The concerts were amazing...wish they'd been longer, they were only an hour and a half, but I really enjoyed myself. Both times I went with a friend; the first time (2012) we drove all the way from Alexandria, LA to Little Rock, AR and then stayed overnight after the show. The last one was in 2013, in New Orleans, LA. It was a fairly long drive made worse by the fact that the Saints were playing at home the same day...but we made it and enjoyed the show. Aside from the fact that the music was wonderful, the show was held in the Saenger Theatre, during its first season after being renovated post hurricane Katrina. It was a gorgeous venue...I felt like I'd stepped back in time to the 1920's or something...hard to describe with just words, but it was beautiful. I'm particularly glad I got to see that show because it was one of the last that George Donaldson performed. If you have the chance, you might pick up some of their DVD's...amazon has them relatively cheap, and they're closer to the real thing than YouTube is, especially if you have a good sound system.
