reevan's Journal, 28 April 2015

I have failed... My body just kept getting one sickness after another... Joint pains and weakness made it difficult for exercise. I put on a whopping 10 Kilograms. From 75 to 85... I want to get back to health. Besides I need some motivation. I think I may be suffering from a bit of depression. I am definitely fighting myself against comfort foods that translate to unhealthy, processed, metabolism-slowing food items. I needed to get this out in the open and confess it. I am going commando on myself again, back to diet and exercise irrespective of the emotions! Walked for half an hour, cooked my own meal and began healthy this morning. yay!

you know what they say "Well begun is half done", so there you go, you have begun! Might make a suggestion? Think about 5-9 meals that you fancy and that don't bore you, low in cholesterol and high in good calories -forget about the carbs though- and stick to them for the next month!!! this helped me a lot... You know, omelets, 5-veggies/day, lean meats, whole fruits so ditch the juices and for the love of God 5 meals per day!!!! GOOD LUCK TO US ALL!!!

Heya Catherineeleanor! Thanks... meal plans definitely help... Thanks for the tip... The only thing standing in my way is emotional eating... I'm dealing with loss and grief. Some days I am able to stick and others I just can't stop myself. So, I'm slowly getting rid of unhealthy foods from my home and staying away from eating out as much as possible. Well, slowly and steadily I am getting more disciplined. I am joining the gym tomorrow. Exercise helps with the emotions. Love to you and all the very best. Thanks for your support, will be here for you too :)
