FutureFitness's Journal, 17 February 2015

I read a study about a week and a half back that said that low carb dieters who stall should consider adding 8-12oz. of dry red wine to their diet every day, and it seems to be working. The theory is that there is some chemical in red wine that keeps fat cells from "maturing" and thus they are easier to kill or something like that. Link:

Well, in my case, it seems to be working. The scale is moving a bit faster.

This past Friday, we had a major cheat day and I ate Chinese food for dinner--all of the worst stuff in a shameful amount. I woke up and was completely out of ketosis. Then all I ate Saturday was five tablespoons of coconut oil and a can of tuna. Then I went to the gym for a hard workout and a two-mile run (17 minutes). By bedtime--WHAM--back in ketosis.
