Experienced advice wanted. I joined FS at the beginning of May and have lost 13.4 lbs. Prior to that, I had lost an additional 16 lbs on my own starting in mid-February, for a total of 29.4 lbs. I still have an additional 66 lbs to lose to reach 170. I have read that people who take “Maintenance Breaks” during their weight-loss journey are more successful at keeping the weight off in future. Does anyone here have any experience and tips with this? Should I stop and maintain every 30 lb lost? 40 lb? And for how long should I maintain before cutting calories again? A couple of weeks? A month?
