Weight gain has peaked (after losing about 17lbs I gained 9 back) and it's coming back down finally. I've had issues over the past year with constipation, and have now altered my diet to include more fiber and water. I thought I my fiber intake was adequate with all the vegetables and fruit I eat, but I've had to add psyllium husk and flax and I'm still working on it. Maybe it's an age also.

Well done getting back on track. As far as BMs go, I don’t know about age but I can tell you that since I changed my eating habits a year ago, nothing has ever been the same. I guess a lifetime of eating junk (and a ton of it) really does a number on you. 😆

Agree with @domolive. Despite eating significant amounts of fruit and veggies, I sometimes have to drink a tea from the health food store to aid nature.

I never struggle with constipation anymore since I started having oatmeal (usually with added blueberries) every day, making my own whole wheat bread, and eating more veggies (mostly fresh tomatoes; I’m addicted to those.)
I sympathize with folks that have more of a problem than I do; it’s unpleasant and uncomfortable.

We often neglect our gut health … a good probiotic especially if you’ve been on a antibiotics is key!!
