How are you doing now? 

Hope it was mild and that you feel as great as you look! 

happy bday. my bday was the 16th. hope you feel better.  

My husband's best friends birthday is the 13th and mine is the 17th. Happy birthday to you and get well soon!

Thanks everyone for the bday wishes. The trip was crazy, I got a lot of free time, walked 12 miles, and had some insane party nights and did Japanese karaoke. I got womped pretty good, it's day 6 and I'm finally feeling better just a bit of a lingering cough. COVID is no joke. I've been bunkering the past 2 years and my husband encouraged me to finally go out and blow some steam off. Unfortunately that means he now has it too. I suppose it's probably good to get it now, when we are vaxxed/boosted and it's omicron instead of delta. Oh well, onward! 

Happy belated 33rd! You just a baby! I’m old enough to be your mother for crying out loud. 😂😂 I’ve been to New York City several times, no place like it on earth. Didn’t have the privilege to meet Mermee yet though. Someday I hope. Haven’t been since 2012…

Mermee my warrior princess you know I'll be back! Had the time of my life. ❤️❤️❤️ Wifey haha! Wonder what kind of trouble you got into when you visited the first time? Moms always have a wild side ;) Losing, thank you! I bet it was exhilarating to live there. Mermee knew all the great spots, there was not enough time! Mostly the food 😋  

Good thing you didn't feel sick while you were in NYC -- you look pretty content with things in your photo 😊💜. I haven't been in about 6 years, but I used to be a regular (train up from D.C.) when I was in my 20's & 30's. Always caught at least 2 shows. Don't know whether you were able to get tickets what with Broadway opening and closing so frequently, but I would definitely put it on the list of things to do next time. BTW, it is so strange that you're in Times Square and there is absolutely no one else in the photo. Pre-Covid, that place was wall-to-wall pedestrians. 

Glad you're feeling better! I assume you were back home before it hit?

Happy Birthday you lucky dog JC!!👍🌼👏👏👏🎂🥳🎉 Not only are you having fun in New York, but meeting Mermee must’ve been the best! My hubby is in New York often and asked me once in awhile to go with him. I might go if I get to see Mermee, more exciting than Times Square!😁♥️ 

I was definitely lucky that I got back weds at 1am to MN and got sick Thursday. The hotel was the Citizen M hotel in times square so I had about a 2 block walk and got moving early which is why there is no one else in the pic! Not quiiitte in times square. There were so many people it was insane. For perspective my friend works for our downtown- we get 365k visitors a year, times square has 365k a day! 

I'm so sorry you got covid in NYC, but I'm glad you enjoyed yourself for your birthday.
