It seems everyone around me is fighting the flu. In October I had open heart surgery. Since my heart attack I've lost 20 lbs. I had stopped using this site a long time ago... I'm Back. Tracking food and exercise really does help me lose weight.

Tonight I'm having trouble sleeping because I'm coughing again... I think I had a touch of the flu last week. My wife has it now.

I am thankful to be alive and to have such a wonderful, loving wife. I'm thankful... for so much and have found that my focus must be on gratefulness in order to defeat the anger and depression that accompanies open heart surgery recovery. So, I am grateful. I thank God for the people in my life and for His grace He has poured out on us in these last few months especially.
