It's amazing what one day of fast-food can do. Especially breakfast sandwiches that are 12 pts! I've been striving to eat better all around, but Monday was a stressful day...I spent it unpacking my apartment, helping mi madre pack for the UK, and working the rest of the time. I ate out 2 meals that day and then once yesterday on the road to the airport. When I weighed in, I got my results. Therefore, today I am cutting out fast food and eating at restaraunts all together. Just by eating in I am getting more fiber, spending less $$, and my portions are back in control...What a speedy lesson in how expensive and exhaustive that lifestyle is.

FInding out the points for fast food is such a sucker punch in the gut:( And eating out is completely challenging. WHat are the thinking with the ginormous protions?? There are some great websites that translate menus into points. I can't remember which one I just googled points for what ever restaurant I was heading to. Way to go on hear and acting on the lesson!

Fast food restuarants are always tricky and will always be, they sometimes lie about their nutrional facts. It's so much better to eat in and make your own version, by doing so you will know for sure that it is healthy, the portion control facter, and it will save you money!

Thanks for all the tips guys!! ...I have had a tumultuous week, so my food choices (and portions) have not been the best, but everyone's support is so palpable that I'm -determined- to do better. And, yes, that is Ralphie /0 -- he's my hero. Whenever I wear him & I go to the fridge instead of picking up my guitar or doing some situps I think, "You'll shoot yer eye out!!!" and I immediately laugh and do the latter...
