So Monday was a lousy day at work, plus the fact that it is that time of the month. By the time I left work for the day, I was CRAVING Pad Thai, Fried Foods, SUGAR ... Anything and Everything that would destroy my progress to date.

I called my friend and begged to be "talked down from the ledge". In the end I went home and prepared the meal I had planned. Yeah for me! However, a couple hours later I was still craving something salty, so I did give in and have some potato chips.

While I gave in to the craving, I count this in my Win column as I ate just enough to satisfy the craving and then I crushed the entire bag of chips into crumbs and threw the rest away. These were potato chips which I had purchased before I decided to get healthy. Now they are gone and no longer a temptation.

Tuesday came and went, no cravings, nothing out of the ordinary, I was fully back on the healthy eating train and completed a great workout that evening.

I feel great that I faced a demon, recognized it for what it was and sought out thoes who would offer me the support I needed to make it through the roughest patch thus far.
