So, realistically, it's going to take me a few years to reach my goal and I'm trying to keep that in perspective. From past experience, if I restrict too much and focus solely on weight loss I will burn out and end up right back where I started. So for me my goal is roughly a pound per week and I have just over 100 lbs left to lose. It seems so slow and I have to remind myself to look back and be encouraged at my progress so far. actually I don't think I've ever lost 17 lbs before so I am proud of myself.
