It has been a while since I did any journaling. Time to get back to it and to being accountable for my dietary habits. And, maybe writing about my stress will alleviate some of the stress. So, I am going to try the Ultrametabolism diet. I love raw veggies and fruits so I that part will be good. I love whole grains, so that will be good. I will have to give up my glass of wine for a while, but that is OK. The harder thing to give up will be the margaritas on Saturday nights when my husband and I go to our favorite Mex restaurant. I think this week I will probably have one, but after that, . . . . I'll see.
The thing that will make changing some of my dietary habits more difficult will be my husband. He has cancer and is having trouble keeping weight on. I love a challenge.
Tomorrow morning I will begin the journey. I am ready.
